PAYDAY 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed Co-op FPS PAYDAY: The Heist.

It is currently in development by OVERKILL Software – a Starbreeze Studio and is slated for a 2013 release.

Staying true to its origins, it will be completely OVERKILL.

Together with publisher 505 Games, the OVERKILL developers are working day and night to make sure that PAYDAY 2 is fantastic to play

The game will feature 30 locations, as seen in the IGN preview. These heists will vary in length and complexity due to the new Crime Net. The skill tree system featured in the original PAYDAY has been more fleshed out, and has been compared more to an RPG-like levelling system, with new classes: the Enforcer can carry heavier weapons, the Mastermind can negotiate and intimidate cops to make them friendly, the Ghost is a master of stealth and can disable security cameras, and the Technician class returns from the Wolf Pack DLC. Players can also use their heist rewards to purchase in-game upgrades to prepare for a mission, such as a hacking device that automatically disables shutters instead of manually tearing them down.

Similar to the original PAYDAY, there are many dynamic events: enemies will be placed in different locations, the objective may be in a different room, the heist may have more objectives and thus take longer, and stealth will also play a greater role in heists.

Overkill has attempted to address the complaints of the previous game. The console version of the game will be more on par with the PC version, and it will run more smoothly and look much better because of the larger studio and the bigger budget.

Rayman Legends is an upcoming platform game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. It is the fifth main title in the Raymanseries and the direct sequel to 2011′s Rayman Origins.

The game carries on the style of gameplay from Rayman Origins in which up to four players simultaneously make their way through various levels. Lums can be collected by touching them, defeating enemies, or freeing captured Teensies. Along with Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies returning as playable characters, players can now control a new female character named Barbara.

In the Wii U and Vita versions of the game, an additional player can control Murfy with touch controls, using either the Wii U GamePad or the Vita’s touch screen. Murfy can perform various actions such as cutting through ropes, activating mechanisms, grabbing hold of enemies and assisting in gathering Lums. These offer a range of levels in which co-operation is required to progress, such as levels that mix platforming for Rayman and friends with rhythm gameplay for Murfy.

In an interview with Nintendo Power, Ubisoft revealed that the majority of the single player campaign will be platforming with Rayman or one of the other characters, temporarily switching to Murfy during certain sections.

Saints Row IV is an open world game that continues the story of the Third Street Saints by elevating their status to the highest level – the leaders of the free world. After a catastrophic alien invasion occurs where the aliens trasnport the Saints to a bizarro-Steelport simulation, you must fight to free humanity from alien grandaddy Zinyak’s mental grasp by ultiziling gargantuan superpowers. Escape the simulation that’s trapped the Saints crew, or die trying.

YOU PLAY AS THE PRESIDENT

Well this is quite the shift in career paths. Not long ago your leader of the Saints was stomping skulls in Steelport. Clearly, voters hold cranium-crushing in high regard in the world of Volition’s sociopathic sandbox, as your gangster boss has now been promoted to Leader of the Free World.

Although the developer is keeping schtum on the specifics, we’re promised the Saints have appropriately blinged out the White House. We imagine there’ll be strippers draped in gorilla suits grinding in the Oval Office. During the demo lead producer Jim Boon shows us, the Prez is dressed head to toe in garish star-spangled garb. It’s a wonderfully absurd move and one that perfectly encapsulates Saints Row 4’s gloriously daft sensibilities.

THERE’S AN ALIEN INVASION HAPPENING

We are not alone… mainly because Saints Row’s take on Washington D.C. is invested with an extraterrestrial force known as The Zen. Controlling a seemingly indestructible hero prompted Volition to create an enemy that could actually pose a threat to a dude who can hurl a Humvee three city blocks.

Scott Phillips, the game’s lead design director, talked us through a few of the different Zen troops you can expect to duff up. “There are regular grunt units, some bigger foes and then you have the Wardens,” he says. “They’re the equivalent of the player as they also have super-powers. They can do all the things that you can do, so you have to use all your skills against them. Said badass UFOs look like the by-product of a steamy night between The Thing and a Xenomorph.

THE GUNS ARE TRULY PREPOSTEROUS

For a series that has redefined comedy weapons, Saints Row 4 has some big floppy feet to fill. Lucky, Volition is more than equal to the task. Forget your vanilla grenade or rocket launchers; here you can fire a gun that lets you inflate enemies’ heads. Unleash the Inflate-o-ray, then stand back and watch as some poor sap’s skull slowly expands until it eventually pops like a gore-filled piñata.

Not in the mood for blowing up bonces? Then perhaps the Dubstep Gun will be more to your tastes. Similar to Ratchet & Clank’s Groovitron (the disco ball of death that makes everyone dance), the weapon will immediately make any onscreen civilians or foes bust out into a shame-faced boogey. And we thought Saints Row: The Third’sanaconda-sized purple sex device was out there.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist is action-adventure video game from Ubisoft and the sixth installment of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series.

Following the events of Splinter Cell: Conviction, the President of the United States, Patricia Caldwell, officially terminates Third Echelon and orders all their current operations grounded immediately.

President Caldwell chooses to replace the corrupt agency with the newly-formed “Fourth Echelon” – an elite team of operatives, drawn from different agencies, that operate in a mobile environment and travel the globe performing individual missions assigned by the President. Sam Fisher is formally appointed acting commander of the agency.

While Fourth Echelon conducts their primary mission of shutting down all Third Echelon activities, a group of twelve rogue terrorists initiate a terror ultimatum called “The Blacklist” – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on United States assets.

Fisher and his team must now track and hunt these terrorists down, by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.

Along with President Caldwell, Blacklist sees the return of Anna ‘Grim’ Grímsdóttir, and will include the addition of new characters named Isaac Briggs and Charlie Cole.

Blacklist introduces a new gameplay mechanic called killing in motion, allowing the player to highlight targets and take them out in quick succession, with a new fluidity while on the run. As well, there will be voice integration with Xbox’s Kinect peripheral, which will allow gamers to say things to distract enemies and then attack.
